The science — Vestibulo-Emotional Reflex (VER)

Traditional polygraphs measure heart rate, respiration, or skin conductance using wires and attached sensors. DeeP Scanner series goes deeper — contactlessly. Our technology is grounded in the study of the Vestibulo-Emotional Reflex (VER): the human vestibular (balance) system is tightly connected with the brain’s emotional and autonomic networks. When a person experiences stress, fear, cognitive conflict, or attempts to suppress information, the body produces characteristic involuntary micro-movements as it maintains equilibrium.

Today depression is gauged mostly by questionnaires — counting how many items apply. DeeP Scanner turns it into objective, contactless indicators, so the signs surface earlier and more reliably than self-report alone.

Current focus: postpartum depression. Intended to support earlier awareness and professional assessment — not a medical diagnosis.
